Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will be the halftime performers at Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on Feb. 2, 2020.
Pepsi, the sponsor of the halftime show, tweeted the news Thursday afternoon, saying the performance would be the "first time together on stage" for the duo.
The pair will bring a decidedly Latin flavor to the high-profile stage during the return of the NFL's signature event to South Florida.
In her own tweet, Lopez promised the duo is "going to set the world on ... " and inserted three fire emojis.
Actor-singer-dancer Lopez is a popular act in South Florida, closing her recent It's My Party Tour with three sellout performances in July at Miami's AmericanAirlines Arena. Her big year continued with the hit film "Hustlers," which stars Lopez opposite Constance Wu, Cardi B, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer and Lili Reinhart.
Shakira, the Colombian crossover star with massive hits including "Hips Don't Lie" and "Whenever, Wherever," has been a part-time South Florida resident with a home on exclusive North Bay Road Drive on Biscayne Bay.
More performers are expected to be added.
