Sunstroke Festival 2020 featuring rock and metal line-up coming to Punchestown Racecourse in Kildare

Faith No More, Deftones and The Jesus and Mary Chain will headline a new festival in Ireland next year.

Sunstroke Festival will take over Punchestown Racecourse in Kildare on June 13 and 14 next year with a heavy line-up of rock titans.

Also playing will be French metal band Gojira and fan favourites Black Veil Brides.

Fangclub, Bitch Falcon, Vulpynes and The Scratch are among the Irish bands taking stage over the bumper weekend.

This is the first Sunstroke Festival in 25 years, with it last taking place in Dalymount Park - which Faith No More also headlined.

Also performing that weekend was Sonic Youth and Sugar, who stunned fans with stellar performances.

Early bird tickets go on sale on Tuesday, December 3 at 9am for 48 hours on Ticketmaster.

The prices are as follows:

​Day: €69.50 Including booking fee

Weekend: €129.50 Including booking fee

Weekend Camping: €159.50 Including booking fee

General tickets are priced as follows:

​Day: €79.50 Including booking fee

Weekend: €139.50 Including booking fee

Weekend Camping: €169.50 Including booking fee
