The popular Sunshine Tea Lounge has announced it has found a new, permanent home.
The pan-Asian food pop-up has previously served up delicious dishes from the likes of the Old Toll Bar and at the Buchanan Galleries street food market. And now it will be bringing similarly stunning meals to the east end of Glasgow, at 29 Buchanan Street in Baillieston.
Owners have described the move as a 'dream' and say: "There's been some changes recently and I can finally say I am super excited to be moving Sunshine Tea Lounge into her first real home *drum roll*in the East-end of Glasgow in Baillieston!
"The building is over 100 years old with a very quaint interior and space at the back to build a mini allotment for growing herbs to use in the kitchen! DREAM!!"
The venue hopes to be open in the coming weeks, promising: "delicious home made food that is packed full of nutrition, healthy fruit brews, premium teas and artisan coffee, decadent home baked cakes, breads and puddings as well as guest master chefs and bakers appearances.
Meanwhile, there will also be: "cooking classes, the workshops and local hobby groups all set in a beautifully ambient tea lounge and shop."
