Greater Manchester can expect a break in the dismal weather of late, with clear patches leading into an entire day of Winter sun for the region.
According to the Met Office, the region can expect some sunny spells later today, February 26, helping to boost the temperatures into double digits for more parts of the region.
However, tomorrow's forecast is predicting an entire day of Winter sun across the North West, with clouds starting to roll in as night falls.

Due to the lack of expected cloud coverage, it's unlikely to rain across the region tomorrow either, with forecasters putting the chance of precipitation down to less than five per cent.
Most of today's cloud coverage is expected to clear by this evening, leaving most clear skies across the region - perfect conditions for stargazing if the cold isn't too off-putting, with lows of just 1°C expected overnight.
Tomorrow won't see temperatures rise much past 10°C, but the constant sun will boost the overall temperature, with lows of around 5°C compared to today's three.
Make the most of the dry and sunny weather whilst you can, as clouds are expected to roll back in and cover the region from Monday, leaving little chance of seeing any more sunny spells until Wednesday.
The Met Office update for the week reads: "A dry and mostly sunny Sunday with winds easing throughout the day.
"Maximum temperature 11 °C.
"A band of cloud and rain will sink south on Monday, with drier but colder conditions following for Tuesday.
"A dry and fine day on Wednesday after a frosty start."
