Sunil Grover surely knows how to make people laugh. To be a part of the Cannes 2022 frenzy on social media, he morphed one of his popular character Gutthi's photo. With her two ponytails, Gutthi is seen at the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival.
Not just this, she is dressed in a white swan like gown with a purple bow-tie right at the centre of the outfit. Gutthi's typical expression cannot be missed. Sunil captioned the photo as, 'French Riviera'. Take a look.
Hina Khan, who has made stunning appearances this year at Cannes, couldn't stop laughing. She dropped laughing emojis and wrote, "Sunil..." Ronit Bose Roy commented, "Wow! Dude you’re killing it!"
Mouni Roy, Meet Brothers, Rasika Dugal were some others who dropped laughter emojis to show how much they loved the photo. Fans were also in splits and praised him for his comic timing.
Sunil catapulted to fame as Gutthi in Comedy Nights With Kapil. He has been seen in various avatars since, including Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi in The Kapil Sharma Show.
It was his mid-air tiff with Kapil Sharma that led him to quit the show. His last show on television was Gangs of Filmistan where he was seen as Bhindi Bhai (Don). Sunil is now busy doing films and web series.
In an interview with BT, when asked about balancing TV and films, Sunil had said, "My ambition is to work with good people and creative minds who know their job. They could be novice or experienced, but they should know their job because I want to give my 100 percent."
