- The 23-year-old, who is the 2020 all-around champion and a six-time Olympic medalist, shared her comeback news via an Instagram video on Tuesday which she captioned, “I’m back.”
- Lee had been on a break following her successful performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she secured team gold and individual bronze medals in the all-around and uneven bars.
- Her decision makes her the latest member of the 2024 Olympic team to declare intentions for the Los Angeles Games, joining other gold medalists like Jade Carey who have also returned to competition.
