It’s giving “Come on, Nana, let’s get you to bed.” Because, seriously, somebody needs to put President Donald Trump to bed, or at the very least put a timer on his Truth Social app. Regardless of your stance on him, it is incredibly unbecoming for somebody in his position of power to be able to be let loose on the internet like this.
On December 1, Trump went on a posting frenzy on Truth Social. Many of them were videos he posted of things either he had achieved, or negative sentiments towards Democrats. Then, he would repost a quote someone made on one of those posts, much like a quoted post on X.
Don’t worry, I went on Truth Social so you wouldn’t have to for some examples.

His posting spree is definitely a choice. On an Instagram reel posted by user harryjsisson, it seems like many of the commenters are in agreement that this spree, and Trump’s choice of posting, is a sign of his continued mental deterioration.
“That volume and speed of posting is what clinicians flag as loss of impulse control and collapsing reality boundaries,” said one user.
“This is manic behavior which is escalating daily. It’s obviously hitting him in the wee hours of the night when he’s left alone with his dementia,” said another.
So what is sundowning? Sundowning is the term for a state of confusion, anxiety, and agitation that can occur in people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias toward the end of the day. While it has never been confirmed with Trump and is all still speculation, it is getting harder to dismiss the overlap of symptoms.
The questions we really should be asking after this: Why is he still our president? Where is the ire that former president Joe Biden faced when he was in office? And why isn’t anybody doing anything about it?
