There's no sense of panic at the Stadium of Light - but manager Jack Ross has hinted at potential changes to his side for Friday night's clash with Doncaster Rovers.
Last weekend's 5-4 defeat to Coventry City was only Sunderland's third in the league this season, but with so much at stake Sunderland's League One promotion race - Predict final games of the season , it could have repercussions when it comes to Ross' team selection this week.
Sunderland's defending left a lot to be desired, and with the likes of Jimmy Dunne and Denver Hume on the bench, Ross could be tempted to tweak things at the back this weekend.
Lee Cattermole is another who could come into contention, while Aiden McGeady, Chris Maguire and Lynden Gooch are awaiting the green light to return after knocks.
Up front, Will Grigg and Charlie Wyke are at least knocking the goals in, but if Maguire is fit to return, could that mean a change in formation again.
