Sunderland are predicted to return to the Championship at the second attempt, taking the League One title on their way.
Betting analyst Mark O’Haire has put together a predicted Sky Bet League One table, based on the accumulated odds of the UK’s bookmakers.
And the result put Sunderland at the top of the tree, cutting their League One stay to just two seasons.
Ipswich Town are predicted to go up alongside the Black Cats, returning to the Championship at the first attempt.
The Tractor Boys will beat Portsmouth to second spot, according to the predictions, while Rotherham, Peterborough and newly promoted Lincoln will join Pompey in the play-offs.
The bookmakers expect Burton, Oxford and Fleetwood to be in the running for the top six, but all are being tipped to miss out on the postseason.
At the other end of the table, Bury are favourites to go down, along with financially troubled Bolton.
Wycombe and Accrington are also predicted to suffer relegation, while Wimbledon, Rochdale and Gillingham are also expected to be involved in the relegation battle.
Newly promoted MK Dons are expected to finish 12th by the bookies, while Tranmere are tipped to finish 16th.
Jack Ross' side get their season under way with a home clash against Oxford United on Saturday, August 3.
