Duncan Watmore made his third start in eight days, while youngster Benji Kimpioka was again included on the bench.

Shrewsbury boss Sam Ricketts made three changes to the side that drew against Gillingham on Tuesday.

Shaun Whalley, Scott Golbourne, and Dave Edwards came into the side, in place of Sean Goss, Ryan Giles, and Daniel Udoh.

Former Sunderland man Donald Love was also in the Shrews’ starting XI.
