Sunderland's League One fixture against Plymouth Argyle rearranged

Sunderland's League One clash with Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, January 9 has been rearranged.

The fixture will instead be played on Tuesday, January 19 as a result of the Pilgrims' progression in the Emirates FA Cup.

The match at the Stadium of Light will kick off at 7pm.

Sunderland will be without a fixture that weekend after being knocked out of the FA Cup earlier this season by League Two side Mansfield.

Meanwhile, Argyle knocked early League One high flyers Lincoln City out in the second round of the competition after a 2-0 win at Home Park.

They're set to face Championship side Huddersfield Town in the third round of the cup.
