Sunderland's League One fixture against Blackpool rescheduled

The Black Cats game against Blackpool has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 23.

The fixture is set to kick-off at 7pm at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland's original game against the Tangerines had been scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 22.

However, a coronavirus outbreak at the Stadium of Light left the Black Cats with no other choice but to postpone the fixture.

The EFL and relevant authorities are conducting a thorough review of the club's decision to postpone the tie.

There has been no information released in relation to the investigation as things stand.
