Sunderland fans react to 'great win' over Burton Albion

Sunderland made it back to back wins to move into the play-offs with a gritty performance against an in-form Burton side.

Lee Johnson's side hit two first half goals to give them a cushion at the break, before Charlie Wyke got his 18th league goal of the campign.

It was a scrappy affair with 10 cards dished out to players and staff of both sides.

Kyril Louis-Dreyfus was in attendance as the Black Cats picked up their first three points under his reign.

Sunderland fans took to social media to praise the team.

LisgoSkol tweeted: "It was one of the more enjoyable games of the season, two great goals first half.

"Plenty of good play and movement with players out of position along the defence I thought we played great."

Edward Brown said: "Scrappy but great win that’s what counts."

Karen Young said: "Great win for the lads, sweet that I was sat there watching it with a Burton Albion fan!"

Brad Fearnley said: "Another top performance, three points and three goals - another for the big man. Keep playing like this and we should surely climb the table."
