Sunderland fans' fury at Parkinson amid takeover talk as MK Dons earn first away win in 14 months

Phil Parkinson has been the subject of a fans' backlash from furious Sunderland supporters after the Black Cats were beaten at home by MK Dons.

Russell Martin's side had not won on the road for 14 months, but goals from Cameron Jerome and Scott Fraser were enough to earn the visitors all three points on Saturday.

Max Power had given the hosts an early lead, but it is now three defeats in a row for the Black Cats following cup losses to Mansfield Town and Fleetwood Town.

It is Sunderland's second league defeat of the season, and they currently sit three points adrift off Peterborough United and Hull City in the automatic promotion places.

However - in the same week details of a reported takeover agreement between Stewart Donald and a consortium led by Juan Sartori and Swiss billionaire Kyril Louis-Dreyfus - fans expressed their outrage against Parkinson following the home defeat.

Here's how Sunderland fans reacted to the disappointing loss to MK Dons:

'Speechless'

'Zero passion'

'Weak'

'Has to go'

'Club statement'

'Enough is enough'

'Sackable offence'

'No chance of going up'
