Sunderland face Premier League competition for loan target Daniel Jebbison

Sunderland will have to fend off Premier League opposition if they're to get Daniel Jebbison to sign on the dotted line at the Stadium of Light.

Sky Sports presenter Kaveh Solhekol claims that Everton are one of three Premier League clubs trying to sign the 18-year-old Blades striker on a permanent deal.

Jebbison scored the winner for the Blades on his Premier League debut in May and has been valued at more than £5million.

Any permanent approach would all but scupper Sunderland's plans to bring Jebbison to Wearside this summer.

The arrival of Nathan Broadhead has quashed the need for reinforcements up front but if Will Grigg is to leave the Stadium of Light, Lee Johnson will need a replacement.

Chronicle Live previously reported that the Blades are holding out for a loan-fee of £1million with Burton Albion and Sunderland both keen on the England youth international.

However, Sheffield United were pushing for a move abroad to join Belgian side Beerschot VA on loan.

Jebbison himself is understood to prefer a loan move domestically, but that was prior to interest from the Premier League.
