Lee Johnson and Alex Pritchard have been nominated for League One awards following Sunderland's impressive performances throughout December.
Johnson is one of four contenders for the League One December manager of the month award, with the Black Cats ending the year sitting on top of the table after picking up 14 points from a possible 18 in a six-match unbeaten run in the league, during which they scored 17 goqals and conceded just three times.
Johnson's fellow nominees are John Coleman, whose Accrington Stanley side picked up ten points from five games, Rotherham United's Paul Warne who led the Millers to three wins from four games, and Leam Richardson who saw his Wigan side pick up seven points from three games in a month that saw their schedule disrupted due to Covid postponements.

Johnson is looking to win the award for the second time this season, having previously been named League One manager of the month in August.
Pritchard has been nominated for the December League One player of the month award.
The midfielder has hit top form over the last six weeks, and contributed one goal and four assists in the league during December.
Pritchard is up against Oxford United striker Matty Taylor, who scored four goals in five games last month, Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray, who conceded just one goal in three games, and Rotherham midfielder Dan Barlaser, who scored four goals in four games for the Millers.
