Sunderland Airshow map and guide to what's where including toilets, ice creams and free soft play

This map from Sunderland City Council will help you find your way round the attractions at Sunderland International Airshow at Seaham over the weekend.

Seafront

You will find a range of promotional exhibitors along the seafront, including Cooper Mini Sunderland, as well as a viewing screen so you don’t miss any of the entertainment from the stage.

Recreation Park

This area holds the trade and exhibition stalls. For the first time, this year it will play host to a big top marquee programmed with family activity throughout the weekend. Activities will include slime-making sessions, craft activities, interactive shows and meet and greet sessions featuring superheroes and princesses.

The Myfabland experience for little ones - run by Fab ice lollies - will have exploding confetti sprinkles geysers, lolly mazes, ball pit moats, three HUGE slides and much more. It is free for under 12s and under 3s must be accompanied inside by an adult.

Simulators and a zipwire will also be in the Recreation Park. Pop in to shop, eat and be entertained.

You can download the map by right clicking on it and choosing "download" or "save as".

Cliffe Park

At the very centre of the event site is the main stage area, which will host live music throughout the weekend, as well as food vendors and bars. You will also find the Royal Air Force here. Take advantage of the viewing area, introduced just last year, where you can sit on deckchairs and relax whilst watching the flying displays or stage performances.

The Take Off Enclosure near the white lighthouse is a paid area where guests can enjoy an upgraded experience.

Bede's Walk

Bede’s Cross is home to the Military Village hosting exhibitions and interactive activity from The British Army and Royal Navy. Pop in for an ice cream and discover more about military life. British Army exhibits include a Gazelle Helicopter, Climbing wall and a paintball range.

Marine Walk

This area has great views of the flying display programme. Drop in to one of the many local businesses before visiting the face painters at Holy Rock Corner. A bubbleologist will be located at Holy Rock Corner on the Saturday, for a display of awesome bubbles.

Roker Park

As well as play areas, a model boating lake and sports courts, the park also has a Minature Railway Ride.
