Up early or lie-in? I spent so much time sleeping when I wasn’t working for six years – I was so deeply, deeply bored – I like getting up early and having as much of the day as possible.

Sunday exercise? I do circuit training every morning in the park with a lovely local guy called Jerome, who my dad found. Everyone from around where I live walks by with their dogs and says hi.

Housework? I’m mid building my home office. It’s interesting, figuring out what you want in a room you’re going to make things happen in. I went to Fatboy Slim’s house in Brighton and his office was beautiful. I thought, ‘I’ll have some of that.’

Breakfast? I don’t eat until late. I drink a lot of tea, made from herbs, like chamomile, from my garden and on the balcony. I’ve got an amazing view of the marshes, rowers on the river, and a nearby horse-riding school.

Now what? Probably play tennis with my friend, Phoebe. I’ve been playing for about eight years, not knowing what I was doing. Now we both have coaches.

Sunday lunch? I’ll cook a broth with fish and quinoa porridge. I overcooked quinoa once and it turned into porridge – now that’s how I do it. Make a broth, pan fry a bit of white fish, lay that on top. That’s pretty standard.

Sunday afternoon? I read! I love a good supplement, so I get them all: the Financial Times, the Observer, the Guardian on a Saturday. There’s a lot of good TV ideas in supplements. I can’t throw them out until I’ve read each one cover to cover.

Sunday dinner? I’m good at roasting chicken. My mum is a chef – Andi Oliver, who’s on BBC2. She’s always taught me: tinfoil is your friend, because then it’s poaching in its own juices, so it’s juicy in the middle. Then take it off when you want it to crisp up at the end.

Sunday unwind? I’ll probably have bike ride. I don’t like those bikes that you hire; they’re too heavy. I’ll hop on my mountain bike for a ride on my own with some tunes.

Last thing you do before bed? Pray!
