Anyone feeling cavalier about the value of the Good Friday Agreement to British and Irish life could do worse than watch this bleak but essential film about the Maguire family, who were wrongly convicted of being the explosives experts behind the 1974 Guildford pub bombings. The feverish and fearful atmosphere of the mid-70s created conditions that were ripe for error, supposition and corner-cutting; the result was one of the most heinous miscarriages of justice in British history.
