Nicole Kidman was always destined to give birth to a model. The five-foot-eleven Australian actress has had her height remarked upon since the very start of her career.
This was especially notable in the 1990s during her relationship with fellow actor Tom Cruise, who was four inches her junior.
She famously commented on the height difference between her and Cruise during an interview with David Letterman after their divorce. “Well, I can wear heels now,” she announced to rapturous laughter.
Kidman graduated from Cruise to Keith Urban, who was a slight step up at five-foot-ten. During her 19-year-long marriage to Urban, the couple welcomed two daughters: Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban, 17, and Faith Margaret Kidman-Urban, 14.
It was revealed this week that Kidman and Urban had rather dramatically called it quits, with the 58-year-old actress filing for divorce on Tuesday. Urban, 57, has reportedly moved out of their Nashville home and headed on tour, while Kidman retains primary custody of their children.
Their custody arrangement shows that Kidman will be spending 306 days of the year with her children, while Urban will have the other 59.
And what will the kids be doing with those days? Hitting the runway, it seems. Kidman and Urban’s eldest, Sunday Rose, was spotted on the Dior catwalk yesterday as part of Jonathan Anderson’s highly anticipated first womenswear collection for the legendary French house. Demonstrating incredible professionalism, knowing all eyes would be on her, she delivered a killer walk.

The 17-year-old has been establishing herself in fashion circles for some time, having made her runway debut in October 2024 for Miu Miu. The night before hitting the catwalk, Sunday Rose was given some modelling advice by Cara Delevingne, who walked in the show alongside other famous faces like Alexa Chung and Willem Dafoe.
“We have a mutual friend,” Kidman-Urban told Nylon in an interview this August. “I got to ask her questions and talk to her about her experience as a model. It was nice to get to know her as I’ve looked up to her for a long time, but even better was that then the next day at the show, I had a familiar face who could show me the ropes.
Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban has walked in one other show for Miu Miu since then and has previously attended Balenciaga shows with her mother, who is an ambassador for the brand.
Speaking backstage at her second Miu Miu show in March 2025, the young model said her goal was to “bring a lot of personality” to her second walk after learning a few lessons from her debut in October.
“I definitely do feel a lot more confident this time [...] I kind of feel like I've been able to express myself more,” she said.
Outside of fashion, Sunday Rose lives a more private life, reportedly attending a Nashville high school and spending a lot of time with her family. According to her Nylon interview, she spends most of her time driving around listening to Billie Eilish and trading memes with her sister Faith (who is also a model-in-waiting).
And apparently many of her acquaintances are entirely unaware of her nepo baby status. “When people my age meet me, they normally don’t know anything about my life, which is sort of wonderful because I am able to make a first impression based on who I am and not who my family is,” she said.
Apart from a few school friends, who are well aware of her extra-curricular activities. “Whenever I'm walking down the hallway I feel like I'm strutting down to math class,” she told Vogue. “Everybody will be like, ‘I see you're doing your runway walk.’”
But there’s a reason Sunday Rose is suddenly cropping up on catwalks. She has come of age, as per the rules of her parents. “There are two big rules,” she told Nylon, “The first was that I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16, and the second is that school always has to come first, which at first I hated, but I am actually really glad that I have these rules in place because it keeps me in a good mindset.”
As far as A-list families go, the Kidman-Urbans are close-knit and down-to-earth (relatively speaking, at least). In a May 2025 interview with Allure, Nicole Kidman told the publication that she is “very close” with her teenage daughters. “I get to be their guide,” she said. The whole family were also spotted in attendance at the Paris Olympics last year, with Nicole, Keith, Sunday and Faith sitting side by side during the gymnastics.
