Sure, days of preparation have gone into planning for a chess match at Soldier Field against the dangerous Chicago Bears defense. But everyone knows the real indicator of how many points the New Orleans Saints will score comes from what they’re wearing.
And in Week 8’s game, the Saints will be going with a no-fusses staple: white jerseys paired with black pants. It’s the second time we’ve seen this look in 2020, having previously been rolled out against the Detroit Lions back in Week 4 (a game the Saints won 35-29).
For the curious, the Saints wore these same white jerseys but with white trousers in last year’s victory at Soldier Field. And for the superstitious, here’s the winning percentage for every uniform combo the Saints have used since Sean Payton was hired to coach the team back in 2006:
