Actress Dalljiet Kaur is getting married to UK-based businessman Nikhil Patel today. Dalljiet has made some close friends in the TV industry over the years. They are all very happy that she is getting married again (Dalljiet was earlier married to Shalin Bhanot and has a 10-year-old son Jadon).
Actress Sunayana Fozdar, who attended her mehendi and haldi functions a day ago is set for her wedding today. She's is thrilled to see her friend get married. Talking to us about it, Sunayana said, "I am so happy to see Dalljiet as a bride. I have mixed feelings. I am very happy and emotional at the same time. I feel like I am giving her away. She deserves to be happy and I will pray for her. It's all so overwhelming for me."
Sunayana says they all had a great time at pre-wedding ceremonies. "I hosted her mehendi and sangeet. We had a blast performing at the functions, it has been a lot of fun. My friend is getting married and I want the best for her and wish her all the happiness," she says.
Sunayana and Dalljiet's friendship has lasted for a decade and sharing about her bond, the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress says, "We have been friends since 10 years. We did a show together which was my first show titled Santaan. She guided me and has taught me things so selflessly. People say that two actresses from a show don't get along, but in our case it was different. She is the most confident person I have seen. That's how we have bonded over the years and we have always been there for each other. We have come a long way and we have seen each other's journey."
