Summersalt music festival announced for 2022 in Canberra

Canberrans can look forward to the return of live music as restrictions ease, with Summersalt announcing its return to the territory in February 2022.

Set to take place on the lawns of Stage 88 in Commonwealth Park, the festival's line-up will include Missy Higgins, Xavier Rudd, Birds of Tokyo, The Waifs, Pete Murray, The Dreggs and Tulliah.

"After powering through a tumultuous time for live concerts, we are so excited to return to ACT with another great outdoor festival event," promoter John Zaccaria said.

"We're all keen to get back to enjoying fun days out with friends and some of Australia's best live music."

The festival will take place on February 26, 2022 and feature local market stalls, food trucks, and a selection of beverages alongside the live acts.

Tickets will go on sale from October 30 at 10am on Ticketmaster.

Ticketed events open up in the ACT from October 29 with a cap of 500 people, before these ease from November 26 to allow up to 1000 people.
