A 'Summer Spectacular' event with food, drink, fun and fireworks will take place at Tenby harbour this summer. Tenby Round Table confirmed it would be running the events this year, while two other organisations have announcedtheir events will not be going ahead.
The Tenby Round Table's events will take place on August 13 and August 27 at Tenby harbour, with an afternoon of fun, food and drink promised, followed by fireworks at 10pm. The money raised through the events will go to local charities.
The Rotary Club of Tenby and the Tenby and District Lions both announced last month they would not be running their events this year. The events returned last year after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. "Following the announcements by Tenby & District Lions and Tenby Rotary Club that they will not be hosting their three events this summer, we are pleased to confirm that we will still be hosting our two events in Tenby Harbour," a post announcing the event on Facebook read. "We are also working with other organisations to see if more events can be hosted through the summer, which we will announce as and when there is more information.
"Our events will be on Sunday the 13th of August and Sunday the 27th of August 2023! Join us in the harbour on these dates for an afternoon and evening of entertainment, food, drink, and fun, with fireworks at 10pm to finish.
"All the funds raised at the event go to supporting local charities and good causes who need your support now more than ever! We are also looking for companies to come on board as headline sponsors for the event so if you own or know any businesses that might be interested, please tag them below. We look forward to welcoming you back to Tenby Harbour this summer."
