Summer solstice: share your photos of the strawberry moon

Monday marks the summer solstice, the longest day of the year and astronomical beginning of summer. If we’re particularly lucky, we could witness a rare phenomenon: a strawberry moon - a full moon that marks the start of the strawberry season – coinciding with the solstice for the first time in almost 50 years.

We’d love to see your photos of the strawberry moon here at GuardianWitness, whether you’re one of the scores of pagans and non-pagans heading over to Stonehenge to celebrate the solstice, or enjoying the long evening some place else, perhaps in the local park, garden or other convenient location. If the skies are clear and you get a good view of the moon, do share your photos with us.
