After weeks of weird weather – including our fair share of thunderstorms and flooding – summer is set to return to Edinburgh this weekend.
Forecasters reckon we could be in for a couple of days of stunning sunshine and temperatures topping 22C.
The Met Office say there could be patches of cloud throughout the day but expect it to be warm. Temperatures are likely to be in the high teens throughout the morning before hitting 20C at around 1pm. It shouldn't dip below that at any point, and is even likely to peak at 22C around 4pm.
On Sunday cloud is expected to remain throughout the morning before 1pm hits – and from then it's likely to be blue skies, sunshine and temperatures of at least 21C.
The sunshine is likely to continue throughout the rest of the day, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon out at the favourite beer garden.
While we'll all be no doubt looking forward to the weekend scorcher, we've got some tricky weather to negotiate before then.
The Met Office are predicting rain tomorrow afternoon.
