Summer Harl and Craig Gordon announce unique name for new son - and it's very cute

After giving birth to a beautiful baby boy on Monday afternoon, Summer Harl has revealed the unique name she and her partner Craig Gordon have chosen for their newborn son.

The former Celtic TV host and her Hearts keeper partner announced on Instagram they have decided to call their baby boy Ace Harlow Gordon.

Posting a series of snaps on her social media, Summer wrote: "Ace Harlow Gordon. Let's go home, my boy."

And many of her followers commented saying they absolutely loved the name the couple had picked for their son.

One wrote: "Gorgeous boy with a gorgeous name! He looks like he was a big boy."

Another added: "Love his name. Congratulations Summer."

One commented: "Adore this beautiful boy's name."

Summer and Craig announced on Tuesday that their bundle of joy had arrived the day before.

The 31-year-old had been documenting her pregnancy journey over on Instagram, and in her last post before she gave birth she revealed her baby boy was keeping his parents waiting as she was five days overdue.

Summer and Craig's baby delight comes after she revealed that they had longed for a baby for some time.

Last year, the brunette beauty opened up about her struggles to conceive after being diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).

Summer said she and her former Celtic star other half had been trying "for quite a long time" to have a baby.

The now mum-to-be opened up about her desire to "grow her family" in a a blog about Mother's Day and spoke about celebrating mothers and motherly figures.

She said: "Yes absolutely, We would love to grow our family. We have been trying for quite a long time. I have PCOS so we have been working our way through that for almost a year. It's really tough, but something that will work out one day."
