The Summer Game Fest schedule for 2026 is filling up, with more showcases joining the lineup as we make our way to June. So, to help you keep track, I've brought together all of the confirmed streams and where you can watch them so you don't miss a thing.

The main Summer Game Fest Live showcase will be once again hosted by Geoff Keighley with Gamespot's Lucy James returning. Promising to give us an exciting look at what's next in video games, you can expect to see plenty of announcements and updates on the latest new games. While we're still waiting to find out what game publisher partners will be joining in this year, there have been some teases of what's set to be featured dropping. So far, seems like we may be seeing more of the likes of Control: Resonant, Blood of the Dawnwalker, and possibly Lara Croft: Legacy of Atlantis, which first got announced at the Game Awards in 2025.

We'll no doubt see some unexpected reveals too, with a Day of the Devs once again making a comeback to give us a look at some upcoming indie games. Below, you'll find a helpful overview of all of the showcases confirmed so far with times and details listed at a glance. You can also find out where to watch all of the shows and what you can expect below, along with everything you need to know about Summer Game Fest schedule 2026 in our FAQ section.

Summer Game Fest schedule 2026 FAQs

What is Summer Game Fest?

Summer Game Fest has filled the gap left behind after E3 was permanently cancelled back in 2023. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the event brings together a lineup of showcases that will deliver various announcements and reveals, as well as updates on some of the most anticipated new games on the horizon.

How long does Summer Game Fest run for?

Summer Game Fest takes place over the course of four days, and officially kicks off on June 5. Showcases and events (including SGF Play Days) will then follow the main livestream up until June 8.

How long is the Summer Game Fest Live showcase?

In previous years, the Summer Game Fest Live showcase runs for around two hours, with plenty of reveals and trailers packed in. It's then followed by Day of the Devs, which adds to the total runtime with some extra indie goodness to see out the live event. We expect this year to follow suit.

What Summer Game Fest 2026 game publishers will be partnering?

We usually learn about the major publishers taking part in the Summer Game Fest event a little closer to the date of the main live show. In the past, Geoff Keighley has dropped the publishers on Twitter (X), so we'll be keeping our eyes peeled. Last year, there were 60 partner publishers, and we expect there to be plenty this year, too.

So far, we know Xbox will once again have a big presence with its own dedicated showcase event. One big question is whether or not we'll see a PlayStation State of Play this June prior to Summer Game Fest (which is what happened in 2025), but there's been no word on that so far.

Will Nintendo be at Summer Game Fest 2026?

Historically, Nintendo tends to hold its own Direct Showcases when it comes to big announcements, and we've yet to get confirmation that it will be taking part in Summer Game Fest 2026, or if there will be a June Direct. But there's always the chance we could see some updates on some big upcoming Switch 2 games. With some major projects in the works, I would love to see updates on the likes of FromSoftware's The Duskbloods.
