Summer Game Fest 2025 went live on June 6 at 4pm CT / 5pm ET / 2pm PT / 9pm GMT.
Geoff Keighley was back as the host, and the event was streamed from the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Day of the Devs will give us a look at all the upcoming indie games, while Xbox Games Showcase will reveal what’s next from the publisher.
What to expect from the Summer Game Fest Live 2025 showcase
For starters, we will get to see glimpses of Chrono Odyssey and WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers (a dark and fantastical soulslike action RPG), followed by The Outer Wilds 2 gameplay on June 8.
Other than that, it’s a bit difficult to say what exactly will be shown at Summer Game Fest 2025. The simple reason is that the second half of this year is yet to surprise us with multiple releases, as several publishers have been holding off their titles’ release dates.
Rockstar Games had initially planned to release the highly anticipated GTA 6 in Fall 2025, but it has now been delayed to May 26, 2026. This has given publishers the room to release their titles later this year and ultimately compete for The Game Awards 2025.
So, Geoff Keighley could very well surprise us with some big news on upcoming titles, such as Marvel’s Wolverine or Resident Evil 9, at the Summer Game Fest 2025. Once the event gets aired, we will be updating this section with every announcement made, so be sure to check back.
