
Flowers carpet the hills of the Shikisai-no-oka gardens in Biei, Hokkaido Prefecture. About 50 kinds of seasonal flowers are planted in the 14-hectare garden, with red and purple salvia and yellow marigold currently in bloom. Visitors can enjoy the vivid spectacle through the end of September, according to the facility.
