Beloved Glasgow pasta restaurant Sugo to reopen for at home meals

One of Glasgow's most-missed restaurants is set to return with the launch of a new 'at home' service.

Sugo, which opened to rave reviews on Mitchell Street at the end of 2019, has been closed since March amid the coronavirus crisis.

However, the team behind a series of sensational pasta dishes have teased fans with news of their 'at home' meals, due to launch soon.

They recently commented on Instagram: "Good news pasta fans!

"The wait is nearly over... Team Sugo has been hard at work over the last couple of months and are ready to reveal something fresh

"Sugo at Home is launching very soon!⁣

"We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on…"

Sugo's sibling and much-loved pizza haunt Paesano opened last month, at both city centre and west venues, serving up their famous Neapolitan pizzas for collection.

Glasgow Live were this morning told by Sugo: "Sugo at Home will be launching in the next few weeks.

"It’s going to have a similar structure with a menu 1-9 and will have everyone’s favourite Sugo classics to enjoy at home, with a couple of exciting twists.

"There will also be a competition going live later this week where you can become one of 50 taste-testers before it launches, if you sign up to the Sugo newsletter."

In the meantime, you can follow Sugo on Instagram for updates here.
