Sufficient time, easy questions in Maths 1

State board’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Std X students appeared for their Maths 1 (Algebra) exam on Thursday. While it was easy-breezy for a few, others found it to be of moderate difficulty level. Most students concurred that the given time was sufficient to solve the paper.

Sanket Tekade, a Std X student of Manjusha Convent, said the question paper was well set and a scoring one for students. He added, “The exam was of moderate level. The questions covered all the varieties from arithmetic to probability, and the time was sufficient too.”

Another student Anjali Mishra said, “I found the exam extremely easy. Though some questions such as the equations were a little difficult to solve, the availability of options made it easier for me. I managed to solve it efficiently within the time given.”

Mukul Rathod saved himself ample amount of time to recheck the paper for any errors. “The exam was moderately set with all types of questions included. As there are marks for steps of the solution, one has to be extremely particular and precise while solving it,” he said.

Ayesha Khan said, “Practice is the key to good scores in mathematics, and I can say that all my efforts paid off well. The questions were solvable and I even solved the extra questions to make sure I get maximum marks possible. The given time was enough for solving.”

Mohammed Imran said the exam was a mix of both easy and difficult questions. “Some problems really made me think a lot and I had to invest a lot of time in them. The questions that carried more marks also were lengthy, but I managed through the options given. I’m hopeful for a good score,” he added.
