Sudden death of man, 52, prompts police forensics presence in Glasgow's south side

Forensics have been called to an address in Glasgow’s south side after the ‘sudden death’ of a man.

Police and ambulance raced to the address on Auldhouse Road, Newlands, around 10.50am on Friday morning.

A 52-year-old man was found dead inside the property.

An eye-witness reported seeing forensics outside the address on Friday afternoon.

The death is not believed to be suspicious.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Officers were called to an address at Auldhouse Road, Glasgow at 10.50am on Friday, 24 April following the sudden death of a 52-year-old man.

"The incident did not require any further police involvement."
