Sally and Tim Metcalfe will leave Coronation Street next week after Tim makes a disturbing discovery about his dad Geoff.
Over the last few weeks, Sally has vowed to do everything that she can to help Yasmeen Nazir.
However, Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) has realised what Sally has been doing and is desperate to keep his son onside.
But he is left furious this week after discovering that Sally is planning to give Alya the money Geoff gave her and Tim for their wedding.
Alya has been planning to sell her share of Speed Daal in order to distance herself from Geoff, however Sally suggested that she buy him out instead.
Sally then offered to give her the wedding money, as it was rightfully Yasmeen's anyway.
But Geoff finds out and is furious and tells Tim what Sally is planning to do.
She apologises for not consulting with him first about the money but insists that they have enough money for the wedding.
Later, Geoff sinisterly tells Sally that Tim will always choose him over her because blood is thicker than water.
But Tim is not happy next week when he discovers how Geoff spoke to Sally and tells him that he doesn't want to be stuck in the middle any longer.
Instead, Tim reveals that he and Sally will be going to stay with Sally's sister Gina for a while.
How will Geoff react?
