Such nonchalance in the face of terror deserves recognition

We urgently need the newshounds at the Guardian to bring us the name of the man photographed running away from London Bridge yet giving most of his attention to preserving the remaining half of his pint. Once identified, he can be awarded this year’s Innes prize. This will be an occasional award (and the more occasional the better) for Bloody Minded and Preposterous Nonchalance in the Face of Terror. The Innes prize is, of course, named in honour of Ben, a man whose sheer British idiocy – in requesting a selfie with a hijacker (Report, 30 March 2016) – will, in one sense we hope, never be matched.
