Tributes are being paid to a woman who's body was found on Girvan beach as police continue their investigation.
Earlier we told how Lisa Morrison, 47, was found dead near Golf Course Road in the Ayrshire town at around 11am on Monday, December 23.
Her Staffordshire Bull Terrier was also found dead.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious but are appealing for information.
Devastated loved ones have taken to social media to pay tribute to tragic Lisa who was described as 'such a nice girl'.
On Facebook Kirsty Rae posted: "Rest in peace Lisa.
"You will be sorely missed."
Joolz Robb added: "So sad, I can’t believe it.
"My heart goes out to the family.
"R.I.P Lisa, you were such a nice girl.
"Your are with the angels now, fly high."
Tracey Crawford wrote: "How dreadfully sad.
"Rip Lisa."
Detective Inspector Stuart Lipsett at Ayr CID said: “I’d like to speak to anyone who may have seen Lisa between 6.30 am on Saturday, 21 December, 2019 and 10 am on Monday, 23 December.
"Lisa is described as 5 ft 7, slim build with dark shoulder length hair and was wearing a black leather jacket, dark jeans and white trainers.
"We know that she had been out walking her small Staffordshire Bull Terrier on Saturday along the riverside leading to the harbour at Girvan and the dog was also found dead on the beach today, Tuesday, 24 December, 2019.
"Anyone who has seen Lisa should contact police via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 1105 of 23 December, 2019."
