Bristol City fans are relishing the start of the new season, but accept their side face a tough start to the campaign.
The 2019/20 Championship fixture list was released on Thursday, with the Robins hosting Leeds United in a televised game on Sunday, August 4, at 4.30pm in what is sure to be a hotly-contested but testing encounter.
Lee Johnson's men will also face Derby County, Middlesbrough, Stoke City and Swansea City in their first eight games.
The run-in will also be a challenge, with City taking on Cardiff and Boro, Stoke and Swansea again as the season draws to a close.
But despite the tough task Bristol City face as they chase promotion, Robins supporters are generally feeling positive as anticipation builds for the new campaign.
