Subway troll Celtic for Rangers defeat as cheeky fan hit with brutal comeback

It's a moniker which has been bestowed upon Rangers fans leaving Ibrox before the final whistle to make it to the underground.

And 'Subway Loyal' got a whole new meaning today as the U.S sandwich chain delivered a devastating comeback to one cheeky Celtic fan.

The chain's UK Twitter profile posted an advert for its new toasted bites range this morning but they didn't mean with the approval of everyone.

User @owenybhoy91 replied: "They look awful".

Not to be outdone the sandwich store responded: "Not as awful as last game against Rangers".

The troller had become the trollee and he had to hold his hands up, responding: Cheeky b*******! Well played Subway, well played."

It's not the first time Subway have become involved in the Glasgow divide, as in the Lanarkshire town of Larkhall their famous green signage has been changed to black.

There won't be any Celtic boycott as a result of this Twitter comeback though, with @owenybhoy91 admitting: "I could say I'm never going to subway again but that would be a lie and I'm actually on my way there just now".
