Subway in Kimberley closes its doors to customers for good

A Subway store in Nottinghamshire has announced it is closing its doors for good.

The Subway in Greens Lane, Kimberley, will not be reopening, a note left on the front of the store has confirmed.

The shop, which has been in Kimberley for the past two years, is now vacant and boarded up. It is available to another business to let.

The closest Subway store for Kimberley residents is now at Midland Way on the outskirts of Nottingham, near the University of Nottingham's Jubilee Campus.

A note left on the front of the shop reads: "Dear customers, we regret to inform you this store is now closed.

"We wish to thank you for all the support and custom over the last two years and we will continue to serve our loyal customers at our Midland Way branch in Nottingham NG7 3LA.

"Kindest regards, Subway Management Team."

Subway has been approached for further comment.
