Subway has launched its first EVER vegan sub - this is what's in it

First came Greggs' vegan sausage roll and now we have a vegan sub - hallelujah.

Following huge demand from customers, Subway has launched their first ever vegan sub and salad nationwide.

And no this doesn't mean it will just contain lettuce, with a patty that packs a punch and is full of flavour.

This sub contains tasty red pepper, spicy chili, garlic and red onion and is said to taste great with their new vegan garlic aioli - convinced yet?

Prices for the vegan sub start at £3.80 so surely it's worth giving it a go.

Subway said: "Our new Vegan Sub and Salad goes perfectly with our fancy NEW Vegan Garlic Aioli, a creamy garlic sauce that’s sure to be your new favourite."

Adding: "Whether you’re veggie, vegan, flexitarian or just fancy a meat-free munch, customers may in fact be surprised at how much of the menu at Subway is already suitable for vegans.

"This includes our crave-worthy hash browns, seven of our best-selling sauces including BBQ, sweet chilli and hot chilli, the Italian and Hearty Italian breads, and of course our crunchy salads too."
