Subway foot-long meal deal includes a drink and costs less than £5

Subway has dropped a tasty meal deal that won’t put a dent in your pocket - but it’s only available today and due to the latest health and safety advice, you’ll probably have to order it to takeaway.

The sandwich chain is giving customers any foot-long Sub plus a drink for just £4.99 until Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

To get the meal deal, hungry shoppers just need to head into a participating store and show the assistant the offer as posted on one of Subway's social channels - Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, on your mobile.

So, whether you’re a fan of Meatball Marinara Melt, Steak and Cheese or Vegan Sub, you'll be able to pick up your meal for less than a fiver.

And since Subway doesn’t charge extra for salad and veggies you can pile your Sub high with 11 different types of additional fresh ingredients.

Last month, the fastfood chain introduced new money-saving deals and bite-sized sandwiches from £1.29.

The new Toasted Bites additions to the menu are smaller sandwiches that are ideal for those just wanting a quick snack on the go.

The new sandwiches come in four flavours:

  • Ham & Cheese
  • Tuna Melt
  • Steak & Cheese
  • Cheese (which also comes as a vegan cheese alternative)

Customers can also add two salad and vegetable extras, with options including lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, peppers and olives.
