Subway brings back fan favourite as it launches new 99p saver menu

From Wednesday, 18 September, hungry Brits will have more to choose from at lower prices thanks to an all-new saver menu being launched by Subway.

With prices starting from just 99p, there's cheesy garlic bread, a margherita pizza sub and - excitingly - the bowl of meatballs option is back too.

Subway describes its 99p garlic bread as "an updated take on Subway’s traditional cheese toastie".

There's "oozing mozzarella and cheddar cheese" along with a new roasted garlic and parsley spread.

"It’s a great on-the-go snack for when you just can’t resist your hunger cravings," Subway said in a statement.

If you fancy a little bit more to eat, the £1.99 margherita pizza sub's an option.

Subway describe it as "generously filled with Marinara sauce, mozzarella and cheddar and toasted to melty perfection".

You don't get any extra salad options with it, but at the price it's still a fab deal.

But most excitingly of all is the return of the bowl of meatballs option - "back by popular demand".

From £1.69 you get all the meaty, tomato goodness - and you can add in mozzarella and cheddar cheese for a gooey combination, or drop some Jalapenos on top for an extra kick.

But that's not the end of the changes coming - with a whole new new premium pizza sub collection too.

Subway's launching Subs inspired by classic Italian favourites, adding a twist of its own.

There's a BBQ chicken pizza sub (£3.99), a spicy pepperoni pizza sub (£3.49) and a veggie supreme pizza sub (£2.99) to choose from.
