ORLANDO, Fla. _ That low-pressure system in the Atlantic Ocean has a name.
It's Subtropical Storm Ernesto.
Ernesto is about 695 miles southeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland, and has maximum sustained winds of 40 mph, according to the 11 a.m. EDT advisory from the National Hurricane Center.
It is moving north at 8 mph.
"Some additional strengthening is possible during the next 24 hours," the advisory said. "The system is expected to become a post-tropical storm Thursday night or early Friday."
The good news?
Ernesto is no threat to land.
