Subs Bench meets former bantamweight world champion Lee Haskins to discuss his next venture

In the latest episode of Subs Bench, former IBF bantamweight world champion Lee Haskins and son Anton talk about Lee’s next venture as he is set to fight Davey Oliver Joyce for the WBO European super-bantamweight crown.

Haskins will fight for the title on February 1 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

He boasts a record of 36 wins (14 by KO) and 4 losses in his 40 bouts so far, with him being victorious in his last fight against Sergio Gonzalez in Whitchurch.

Haskins brought the IBF bantamweight title fight to Bristol in 2015, he defeated Ryosuke Isawa to become the interim title holder.

Son Anton is also a boxer himself, at just 19-years-old he has had just one professional fight and was victorious against Ibrar Riyaz.

The father and son duo have been training together in preparation for the big fight in Belfast.

In the interview, Haskins opens up about being a world champion, why he became a boxer, the fight that never was in Las Vegas and more.
