Sublime piece of skill from Ireland star Jayson Molumby has Charlie Adam applauding

A sublime piece of skill from Jayson Molumby left Charlie Adam chasing shadows and only able to applaud the Irish underage star over the weekend.

Molumby is making waves for Millwall since being loaned there from parent club Brighton at the start of the season.

The 20-year-old started in the middle of the pitch against Reading on Saturday with Adam lining out for the Royals.

And there was a great moment during the match when Molumby controlled the ball on his knee, facing his own goal, before hooking the ball over his head and leaving Adam hapless.

The veteran Scot took it in great spirit to his credit and clapped Molumby as the Waterford man scooted clear of him.

Millwall recorded a 2-0 home win over Reading that saw them move up to seventh place in the table only behind Nottingham Forest on goal difference.

They are unbeaten in their last five matches in the Championship and Millwall fans would love to keep hold of the Irish underage star:
