If lockdown has made you once again want to escape Edinburgh and head to the countryside, then this could be the job for you.
This month, a huge West Lothian estate have announced that they are on the hunt for a 'live-in' couple to help run their property and enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer.
Advertised as a couple role, the estate is looking for a Cook/Housekeeper and Gardener/Handyman to work as part of the staff team as soon as possible.
Just a short distance from both Edinburgh and Fife, the property is described as a "stunning" piece of land that is kept to a high standard at all times for the owners.
According to the job role, it states:
"The Cook Housekeeper would provide high quality cooking for the Principals (a couple) and to also assist the Private Housekeeper in ensuring that the Private Quarters are kept impeccably clean and secure at all times."
As well as a 40K salary, the pair would also be able to live in a two bedroom cottage on site rent free where they can enjoy their spare time and relax.
Required to look after the 'principals' on a daily basis, the pair would also need to cater for their family and friends around larger holidays such as Christmas or the Edinburgh festival.
Other tasks include grounds maintenance, ironing, shopping and taking care of the china and crystal.
