A shortlist naming seven of the UK's 'Natural Wonders' has been named with only one stunning Scottish location surprisingly making the list.
A beautiful waterway on the Isle of Skye, Loch Coruisk, was named alongside the surrounding Cuillin mountains on the top list.
Able to be accessed by boat from Elgol or on foot from Camasunary or Sligachan, the views over Loch Coruisk from Sgùrr na Strì have been named some of the best in Britain.
Nestled under the Black Cuillins, the loch is hugely popular with the lucky tourists who have discovered it for themselves and is separated from the sea by the shortest river in the UK, the Scavaig River, which is only a few metres long.
The loch has inspired many artists over the years, from Sir Walter Scott to J. M. W. Turner.
One Trip Advisor user described it as a "piece of heaven", while another added: "Go - enjoy its beauty and how remote it is. Don’t tell anyone else or it might be spoiled!"
Other natural wonders featured in the list from around the UK included the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, the Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall in Wales and Durdle Door, a natural limestone arch on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
Outdoor clothing specialists Merrell has partnered with the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) to establish the Seven Natural Wonders of the UK - a list of natural landmarks that are unified by their shared beauty, uniqueness, and geological significance.
