Stunning Sandyhills clifftop property in running to be named Scotland's top home

A stunning clifftop property near Sandyhills is in the running to be named the country’s top home.

The Edge featured on the first episode of the new series of Scotland’s Home of the Year.

Judges Anna Campbell Jones, Michael Angus and Kate Spiers took in the LA-style clifftop house which offers incredible views over the Solway coast.

They also headed to the Borders in the first episode of the 10 part series.

The Edge isn’t the first Stewartry property to be featured on the show as last year’s overall winner was The White House near Kirkcudbright.

The Home of the Year is on the BBC Scotland channel every Wednesday night at 8pm.

Last night’s episode featuring The Edge will be repeated at 7.30pm on Tuesday and is also available in iPlayer and other catch-up services.
