Beautiful rainbows have been spotted over Manchester as the city can prepare for a few days of dry weather and some rainy respite.
The stunning rainbows, captured today, could herald the last of the relentless rain for the remainder of this week with clear spells through to the weekend.
Showers are set to fade to clear, dry skies - but it's likely to be chilly.

This Evening and Tonight:
Isolated showers at first will tend to fade leaving most places dry overnight. Any cloud will break to give some long clear spells, and inland under clear skies it will turn chilly, with a touch of grass frost by morning. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
Wednesday:
After a chilly start it'll be a bright day with sunny spells. Scattered showers are likely across the North West from late morning onwards, but not everyone will see them with some places remaining dry, including Manchester.
There will be a maximum temperature of 10 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
It will be largely fine and dry on Thursday and Friday.
It will be generally rather cold by day, with temperatures giving the risk of overnight frost.
On Saturday it is set to be cloudy and windy.
