Stunning overhead images of homes, park and schools being built in West Lothian

Stunning overhead images show new schools and homes being built in West Lothian.

The pictures by Gary Baker photography show the three news schools and first phase of homes built in Winchburgh.

Winchburgh Developments recently completed the first phase of works on the canal marina and the project will be handed over to Scottish canals later this year.

They are due to open the new 85 acre Auldcathie Park in September.

Over 30,000 trees are due to be planted at the park over the course of the next year.

A spokesperson said online: “Some recent aerials from Gary Baker Photography of the new Cala and Barratt development and the schools are coming on with phase 1 of the Auldcathie Park soon to be completed behind.”

Winchburgh Developments also ask locals to stay off the park until September.

They added: “Can I ask that people do not go into the park via any route. The Paths and park are not completed or open yet.

“We have construction vehicles still on site and it appears that fences each night are being opened and broken especially by the canal and now even during the day children on bikes are riding through amongst the diggers. Workmen are continually stopping them.”
